MANUAL MULTI-LINKS
EAS leak-free manual multi-couplers are available in standard versions with 6 and 12 mono-couplings.
There are different versions to provide not only the required number of couplings, but also the coupling sizes.
Various hose connection sizes and configurations are available for the multi-couplings on the mold side.
These high quality leak proof water couplings can also be combined with air, hydraulic and electrical connectors as quick couplings for all mold facilities.
With these couplings, fluid and electrical connections are a matter of minutes, while the floor and the system remain clean. In combination with a good water treatment system, EAS multi-couplers reduce waste and improve production quality.
The multi-coupling can be hung on the machine side during the mold change via the simple parking station, so that the coupling is not damaged.
Characteristics
The manual multi-couplers for machine side mounting are available with 6 (max. water flow rate 30 l/min) or 12 (max. flow rate 60 l/min) leak-proof mono couplings: type MMCF 69 and MMCF 129 with 6 and 12 mono couplings, size 9. and type MMCF 1212 with 12 mono couplings, size 12. All machine side multi-couplings are fitted with straight hose connections.
During a mold change, the multi-couplers can be -parked- in parking station MMCP-1.
Options
The manual multi-couplings for mold side mounting MMCM 69, 129 and 1212 can be equipped with mono couplings with straight or curved hose connections. Manifold type MMCMS 129 for machine side type MMCF 129 is also available as part for the mold side.
Maximum water pressure: 6 bar, temperature range 20 °C to 100 °C. PTFE and Nitrile Seals
For hydraulic connections up to max. 200 bar, EAS offers manual multi-couplers with 8 or 12 leak-free mono couplings as standard: type MMCF/MH 86 and 126 with 8 or 12 couplings (size 6, max. flow 25 l/min) and type MMCF/MH 89 with 8 couplings (size 9, max flow 30 l/min)
Temperature range: 5°C to 180°C.
Combinations of water and hydraulic mono couplings and electrical connections are available on request.
The couplings are most commonly used in injection molding machines for cooling or core drawing, but also for other industrial applications where multiple water, air, hydraulic and electrical connections are required.
