How much money do you lose annually to compressed air leaks?

What is the cost of per-air leaks?

Most plants have multiple leaks in their compressed air systems, most of which are too small to be detected by human ears. These can quickly add up to thousands of euros in energy loss per year. In fact, an average of 35% of energy costs associated with compressed air can be considered wasted energy. Much of that waste is usually due to compressed air leaks.

To give you an idea: Compressed air from a large plant costs approx. € 0.10 per m³, from a small even € 0.12 – € 0.20 per m³.

So a seemingly small hole can quickly cost you €15 a day or €5,475 a year!

With energy prices soaring, this is definitely something we think our customers should consider!

How do we go about mapping your leaks?

Our CP&T leadership team would be happy to come to your sites to survey these per-air leaks. We have an established working methodology to give you the best possible understanding of your loss/cost of compressed air leaks present in your production environment.

  1. We come on site to measure all the per-air leaks in your circuit
  2. If we have a floor plan we indicate where the leaks are located
  3. Report showing all leaks and the cost per year of each leak
  4. Make quote to seal leaks
