A look back at our Open House
– 20 years of AJ Solutions

On 18 and 19 March 2026, we had the pleasure of celebrating a special occasion together with our customers, suppliers and partners: 20 years of AJ Solutions!

What was intended to be an anniversary edition turned into a warm, festive and inspiring two-day event that we look back on with pride.

Alain & Danielle’s Retirement

Since its foundation in 2006, AJ Solutions has become a well-established name within the plastics industry in the Benelux. During our Open House, we not only reflected on this impressive growth, but also on the people behind the story.

One of the most memorable moments was undoubtedly the official retirement of founder Alain Janssens and his wife Danielle Hoefnagels. After twenty years of dedication and entrepreneurship, they are passing the baton to the next generation.

New chapter: Gilles at the wheel

We were proud to announce the official transfer to Gilles Janssens during the event.

As the new managing director, he is ready to take AJ Solutions to the next level, whilst building on the strong foundations laid over the past 20 years.

This transition marks not only an end, but above all a promising new beginning.

Innovation, presentations and live demos

During the Open House, visitors were given a comprehensive overview of innovative solutions in plastics processing.

Through live demonstrations and inspiring testimonials from both manufacturers and customers, technology and practical application came together perfectly.

With a range of leading brands on display – including an Engel injection moulding machine – visitors were given a clear picture of the possibilities within the sector.

Networking in a festive atmosphere

As well as technology, there was also plenty of opportunity to socialise.
With delicious catering, a cosy atmosphere and our specially brewed AJS beer “PIP Gold” (Power In Plastics), there was plenty of networking and celebration.

What’s more, every visitor went home with a well-stocked goody bag as a lasting memento of this special edition.
