Water Ring Pelletizing System

Recycling

Baracco’s BPW Water Ring Pelletizing Systems are modern, simple and compact machines that guarantee excellent and quality productions, with moderate production costs.

BPW ensures consistent pellet uniformity and operation is not sensitive to temporary interruptions in polymer flow. The optimized machine design helps minimize polymer stocking between the extruder and the mold and distributes polymer flow evenly to each hole in the mold plate.

Typical applications include polymer recovery, postconsumer/industrial recycling and compounding.

Operation of Baracco pelletizing systems:

The operation of the Baracco Pelletizer WaterRing is a simple but efficient cutting process. The material is melted and homogenized in an extruder, then the material reaches the BPW die, from which the molten material comes and is cut by rotating blades. Then the cut pellet is transported by water flowing over the walls of the granulation chamber to a static separator. This separates the water from the pellets, which are then transported to the vertical centrifuge SP, where the product is dried. Production capacity varies according to model and material to meet the needs of each individual customer.

  • Uniform flow of the polymer to the mold
  • Quick removal of blade and die
  • Quick color changes
  • Easy cleaning
  • Easier commissioning and operation
  • Excellent drying of pellets
  • Easy access to and cleaning of the dryer
  • Insensitive to process variations
