The FD series from qip-GmbH represents the next generation of compressed air granular dryers based on the long-standing approved two-circuit system.
In addition to the major advantages of requiring no desiccant to generate dry air for the drying process and very low compressed air consumption due to the two-circuit technology, the FD series offers a total circular drying hopper made of high-quality stainless steel without an air intake pipe.
This minimizes the cleaning effort in the event of a material change and opens up further possibilities for processing the material.
The heated air is directed into the drying hopper along the outer perimeter, ensuring efficient and consistent heating.
This enables a further reduction in compressed air and makes the FD series one of the most energy-efficient resin dryers on the market.
